Official Review: Orgasmic Communications
Book Description
The book Orgasmic Communications written by Dawn Jean Andrews is a how to guide on to have truly connective conversations with someone close to you. If the spark is starting to fade with someone whom you care about then read this book to figure out how to bring back some of the fire.
It is not an overly complex unrealistic idea. It is in fact simple and straightforward. It just happens to be something you need to learn as a skill that you will take with you and apply the rest of your life.
About the Book
This book covers the topic of how to come away from talking with a friend, partner, lover or other closer companion with a prolonged sense of happiness and bliss. It is about making both people in the conversation feel better instead of being left with loneliness and any other negative feelings you could be left with.
Personal Rating and Opinions
I rate this book as a four out of four rating. It is well written for the topic at hand. I wasn't in love with the headings but it was ignorable. I also found some repetition but it was only to hammer home the message.
I gave it a four out of four as it was a well written piece. The grammar was sound and so was the formatting. I only came across two times in the book where it says you instead of your. As far as errors go, it is a forgivable one to overlook.
The headings I found to be small and lightly colored. I had to open the book on my desktop computer to find out that the reasoning is that it is colored light blue. My ereader on the other hand only views things in black and white. It would have been easier universally if a darker blue had been used and a larger font was used to indicate the topics of the sections. I understand wanting to make it look pretty but it failed to take the multiple types of reading devices into account.
I also noticed the book was fairly repetitive but that only served to really push the points that were trying to be made. It didn't take away from the book.
All in all the book was well written and nicely formatted, save for the headings. I recommend this to anyone wondering how to improve their relationship with someone else. Not necessarily a loved one, but still someone worth keeping in their life.
