Review of E M P Honeymoon
Due to the destruction and suffering it causes, terrorism is one of the greatest threats in today's society. The risk did not stop this couple from defending themselves from the terrorists. The tale of this couple's run-in with these terrorists is in Dorothy May Mercer's E M P Honeymoon.
Kelly runs into an unidentified terrorist activity location while on her honeymoon. The terrorists were hiding in a gift shop. As she stepped in to get gifts for her family member, she discovered terrorist operations in the shop. The terrorists spotted her and attempted to kill her. Kelly contacted her brother as she fled for her life. Her brother also reported the incident to the CIA. Cynthia discovered via more research that these terrorists were preparing an assault on the US. The terrorists were planning to use the EMP, an electromagnetic bomb. Cynthia was determined to stop this from happening. She was ready to use all means necessary to eliminate these terrorists. Can these terrorists be apprehended? Read this book to find out.
This book has exciting moments in it from the very first page. The characters showed pride and fidelity to their nation. They did not hesitate to go above and beyond the authorities' expectations to preserve the lives that these terrorists wanted to take. The author's writing was very fluid, and I thought that it added to the plot's intrigue. The character development was excellent, and there were no awkward cuts between scenes.
The only thing I didn't like about this story was how the newlywed couple split up while on vacation. The husband was also unaware of the location of his newlywed bride. As most couples spend their honeymoon together almost exclusively, I found it to be a little bit confusing. However, this did not stop me from enjoying the book. Reading this book taught me a few things about terrorism, and I appreciate how it approaches the subject. I've read other works by this author, and I have to say that she produces beautiful works of art.
I will give this book a rating of 5 out of 5 stars. Because of the intriguing narrative and the author's writing style, I give this book a perfect rating. I enjoyed every second I spent reading his book. The author did a great job of writing this book. This book was free of errors. There were some sexual scenes and instances of profanity. As a result, I recommend that kids avoid this book.
