I am not a religious person and as such have little to none interest in reading about anything related to the subject. I believe it is about mentality or psychological type, but it is beyond my understanding how people are able to find peace simply by attending the church. No offense, but I will have to pass this one. Still, congrats on BOTD!

Ironically enough I was at Runnymede today where the Magna Carter was signed. Funny how life often works like that! Granted the book isn’t overly related to the Magna Carter but much more looking at the modern church.
We've longed to see the roses, but never felt the thorns
And bought our pretty crowns, but never paid the price
Find me in the river, find me there
Find me on my knees with my soul laid bare

This book will be a great read for enhancing spirituality. However, I'm not really into non-fiction/ spiritual books, so I'll pass on this.

"Magna Carta R.I.P?" by Jude Meritus discusses the historical and current status of the Magna Carta. In the book, the author approaches a serious analysis and leaves room for critical thinking. I like that the author has included numerous facts in the book to support his claims.

It's good that the author takes a thought-provoking approach to what can be a sensitive subject. It's also good that he backs up his views with examples and evidence. The church has changed especially in the last decade, but God never changes. So shouldn't we be asking why and wondering what else can be manipulated in our lives?

I am interested in learning what the author wrote in the BOTD. I am always looking for applicable Christian value books and those that are based on Bible passages. Good review.

I would never have thought of going back to the Magna Carta to look for a glimpse of what is happening now. However, this sample and review (which is well-done) has me wanting to study this possibility. It is a document that was really not covered by schools or churches as I began to search for answers. With this glossing over the knowledge of the fight between good and evil has been pervasive. Thank you for the review of the BOTD and I look forward to reading it soon. My interest has definitely been made aware of a gap that I need to fill!

I believe that the Bible is open to many different interpretations, and the author's opinion is one of them.

The author felt it was important to alert christians and make them resolve religion with the ever changing world today. I'm pretty sure the target audience will relate. Congrats on BOTD!

I think the church system in general needs some reforms. Too many idealistic doctrines have infiltrated the church. I think the contents of this book is worth knowing.

This book seems to be quite captivating. The fact that the author gave room for critical thinking is appreciated. However, the errors found in the book is another factor that could discourage some people from reading. Another round of editing would do just fine. Congratulations on being BOTD!

This book generally talks about the event of things that has happened, according to the bible prophecy and how the church is been subdued, even till this day and it is letting us know about the second coming of Jesus Christ.
Congratulations Botd.

I'm not christian, so I don't really get what's going on. It seems that this is an important piece of work, though.

It sounds like this book is revealing the truth about why people don't want to go to church anymore because of what they preach these days. Great review.
