Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula: Diary of a Snoopy Cat is a fascinating children's book about detective Inca and his friends and their trip to southern Korea, as they accompanied Judge Missy to a baking competition where they are faced with mysteries and try to solve them.

The first mystery Inca tries to solve is when his sister and brother accompany her to visit a friend of theirs named Solo. There they meet Inca's human mom, whom they address as "mum," but who goes by the name of "Missy." When Missy, the newly chosen judge, takes her and her friend to a competition, she also invites Inca and her siblings and friends. During the competition, Missy's cheese is mysteriously stolen, and Inca and the rest open up an investigation into the matter. Inca meets Ye-jun and his friend, who is a dog, and Ye-jun shows the group around the community. The second mystery that Inca tries to uncover is the family mystery of Ye-jun. Will they be able to solve the looming mystery before the competition begins?

The simplicity of this book was top-notch; it blended with the particular audience this book aimed at, which was the kids. The cover of the book was excellent; it was very bright and colorful. A dull cover won't appeal to the kids, and the author knew that and provided the best cover that will appeal to them. What I cherished about this book was how the author talked about the conflict between North and South Korea in a way that was very simple and understandable. Another thing I liked about this book was the pictures that were displayed on every page; most of them were attractive.

There was nothing I could dislike about this book; it engaged both old and young readers in a very special way. The plot and the execution of the narrative were both good. This book also had absolutely no errors and was exceptionally edited.

I will rate Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula: Diary of a Snoopy Cat by R.F. Kristi 5 out of 5 stars; this is probably the best children's book I have read in a while, and this book was amazingly narrated. My recommendation for this book will go to children between the ages of 7 and 12; children below 7 may find it a little hard to understand.

This book will teach kids that envy is not good, after stealing Missy's cheese he couldn't still stop her. This book was just beyond recommendations for the kids
