The most thing that would be annoying would be people talking loudly next to me.

When my son needs something and my DH is being such a lazy POS, that he can't manage to stop watching TV long enough to help DS with what he needs, which is usually a drink of juice, or opening a package of some kind.

Drives me bananas. Why is it so difficult for him to help out when I'm in the middle of a really good book?? And he's usually watching some crap reality show... patience... The book isn't going any where! lol

When I am called out of my fictive dream by my husband with some inane comment about a commercial which I have obviously not seen. Even worse, when he says, he doesn't get the commercial and expects me to explain it. Somehow comments on the show he is watching do not bother me as much..

Hmm, how to decide on the ‘most’ annoying disruption. I would agree that someone wanting to have a full conversation while I’m trying to read is pretty annoying. :D

When I am involved in a book, one of the most annoying disruptions is when the telephone rings.

I guess I'm lucky, because I don't really get annoyed by things interrupting my reading. I can always go back to the book.

A lot of things annoy me about disrupting my reading such as working or people at work wanting to sit and have lunch with me when I am clearly reading my book. The thing that bothers me the most though is if I have a weekend were nothing is going on my husband insists that I sit there and watch tv with him "to keep him company" rather then going off into another room to read. Then either I get innterupted because the tv is good and I can't read then I get behind in my reading and it really pisses me off! I actually love days when my husband has to work on the weekend so I get to read all day without any interruptions!

Honestly, probably the feeling that I should be doing some other kind of work. That, or people who insist on talking to you.

The guys that ask what are you reading when they can clearly see the cover of the book. Or when people grab my book to look at the cover instead of asking what I'm reading. It always seems to happen when I'm at a good part too....
