Murder and secrets have a funny way of always being interconnected. From this review I can tell it will be interesting. It also shows family love, value and adventure. I wonder what the dark secret in the book is. Guess I will have to read it to find out. Thanks.

Don't you hate it when your honeymoon turns into a mystery investigation? Hillary and her new husband are caught up in solving a mystery involving her family and she must help clear their name. Hopefully, she can save the day. Thank you for your review.

I like that House of Eire can be read as a stand-alone even though it's part of a series. I like that the author paid attention to detail in terms of descriptions and character traits in the book. House of Eire has a great storyline that has elements of mystery. Congratulations on making book of the day!

I just bought this book. After reading the review, I can't wait to sit down and read it. It sounds like Hillary and Ed have a great relationship with a strong willed 7-year-old thrown into the mix. I'm curious as to what family secrets Hillary will be uncovering.

I become increasingly immersed in the world of these characters with each novel in June Gillam's Hillary Broome mystery series. Despite being a complex and troubled person, I believe most of us can identify with the problems Clinton faces. House of Eire is an excellent character study and captivating narrative.

Excellent reading for St. Patrick's Day is a ghostwriter with Irish ancestry named Hillary Broome who is anticipating a much-needed vacation and belated honeymoon to Ireland with her husband. :techie-studyinggray:

I love series that can also be read as standard alone. And from this review, I believe thus book would be an interesting read. I would love to know what became of Hillary.

The novel seems to gain from Claire's addition of a new dimension. Although if it doesn't necessarily make it unique, I find the plot of how frequently wonderful trips tend to be derailed by something or other to be interesting. Bravo for winning the BOTD! Great review!

It appears that Claire gives the book an additional dimension. The idea that wonderful trips frequently seem to be cut short by something or other sounds intriguing, even though it isn't particularly original. We appreciate you introducing us to this one.

Sometimes, tracing your origin or family can open you up to family enemies. I hope Hillary will be able to succeed in her quest. Will read this book to find out. Congrats on BOTD.

Each novel in June Gillam's mystery series featuring Hillary Broome draws me deeper into the world of these characters. Although Hillary is a complicated and troubled person, I believe that most of us can identify with the problems she faces. House of Eire is a compelling story with excellent character development.

I want to read this book because it's set in Ireland and it was BOTD on St. Patrick's day. how about that! I enjoyed your review, especially your comments on the author's ability to craft a believable seven-year-old character.
