The book sounds exciting to read. Dr Nolan is a character that intrigues me greatly, and I am interested to see how the novel will progress and how he will solve the crime. Thanks for the review.

The hero becoming a suspect is quite a thrill! After reading this review, I'm left with more questions than answers. Who killed Dr. Nolan's patient? And how will he get himself out of that mess? The book is worth a read!

I am an ardent fan of mystery books. I read the sample, and I must say, Dr. Nolan's calm demeanor in a stressful situation is also something to appreciate. I agree with you that leaving the reader curious after the first chapter and taking them back in time to retell the tale was an excellent choice. I also believe that the book can be better appreciated if the reader also takes up the rest of the series. Thank you for the insightful review!

This book would be a nice read for mystery lovers. I wonder what happened to the body in the river.

I loved sampling the first chapter and I agree with the review - action-packed, suspenseful, and great humour. The review is very informative as to what to expect in the book but so far Dr. Nolan's revolutionary dog grooming initiative was hilarious! Look forward to reading this book.

This seems to be an exciting book. Dr. Nolan hopes to return home to relax after the day's work. However, something serious came up that must be quickly addressed. I hope everyone is safe. Thanks for the review.

There would be a mystery behind Sean's case. It could be that he was involved in illegal deads, relationship troubles, or something. In this case, will Dr. Nolan find out the truth? Does the truth leave Dr. Nolan accept the tragedy? Congratulations to the author on BOTD!

I haven't read this type of series in a long time but your review definitely put this one on my TBR. I love books that have good banter amongst the characters. It lends to the entertainment of the book. The medical part of the book also has me excited to read it. Thanks for the great review!

Reading a suspense-filled work of fiction is always intriguing, and I love the storyline and plot of this book. Sean is an interesting character with the wits of always picking out hidden info that the normal eyes would ignore. I will love to know how the story ended. Thank you for your honest review.

This book sounds like a grounded and thrilling mystery. The incorporation of the medical information and real current events truly make it seem realistic enough to grab the reader’s attention without distracting from the main plot and character arcs. Thank you for the helpful review.

It's being a while I've seen interesting novels like this. Following all the mysteries in it and how Dr. Nolan will carry out the rest of the story is worth looking out for. I'm adding this book to my shelf immediately. And also, nice review here, welldone
