This is really the genre of books I prefer reading during holidays or a long trip on the train. Good to know that the medical information and references in the book are based on the author's knowledge, so it does not take away from the authenticity.

Congratulations on BOTD!
I am confident that this book will be wonderful, so I will add it to my book collection. I find Dr. Nolan to be a really fascinating and intriguing individual. However, since I really insist on reading novels in a series in order, I won't be reading this one just yet.

Well, I do like a good mystery! I usually prefer to read a book series in chronological order, but this one seems like it can be read as a standalone. It's great that Dr. Nolan has a strong sense of camaraderie with his friends. Jed and Sheriff Dent sound like fascinating characters. The author's inclusion of details regarding the Covid pandemic make the story more realistic and relatable. Also, the humorous and suspenseful scenes make the novel more entertaining.

Thank you for your analysis of this book. 🙂

I like suspenseful mysteries; it sounds like this will be a really good read. I adore books where the protagonist has a solid support structure, even if it is to keep them grounded in reality. I can't wait to get my hands on this book.

Another thing that I appreciated about the book was the medical information incorporated throughout the pages. The author’s medical background created an authenticity in the descriptions, and I loved how easy it was to understand the procedures he described. I also found it noteworthy that the author brought up current events like COVID and race issues that served a subtle but essential role in how the mystery played out. It felt realistic to witness the characters responding to the same issues we’ve dealt with in the past few years and to see how things have since developed.
- I couldn't help but keep reading this part over and over. Everything I've been waiting to read about, nicely rounded up. Thank you.

Congrats on BOTD. It seems the author did a good job interlacing medical information with the suspenseful events of this thriller.
