Review of Terms of Service
Terms of Service: Subject to Change Without Notice by Craig W. Stanfill is a sci-fi book that is centered around the protagonist, Kim. The book discusses the future with artificial intelligence as the focus. In this world, artificial intelligence dictates and controls everything done by humans. Before now, there had been rules laid down to govern this society. At birth, the children are surrendered to mentors, who take care of their upbringing from the age of four and below until they become adults. Even the protagonist, Kim, did not know who gave birth to her. She does not remember having any encounter or interaction with her mother.
Kim works for The Artificial Intelligence Company as a trainer for automatons. She teaches and guides them on how to carry out their daily tasks and how to relate to people. Kim also has her own personal AI named Kimberly and a close friend named Shan. They both delved into some adventurous escapades. What was the outcome of this escapade? Did Kim ever gain satisfaction from her job? Read this book to find out.
There are a lot of amazing features I admire in this book. One of such features is the plot development. There was no dull moment. It was intriguing. The suspense kept increasing with each page. I was gripped by this book and read each page with anticipation for the next page. Another interesting feature of this book is the development of the characters. The author made sure that no character was confused for another by giving enough details about each character. I could easily picture each character in my mind while reading this book. I admire the author's writing style. It is captivating. It shows expertise and makes the reader confident in the author's knowledge of artificial intelligence. I did not encounter any typographical or grammatical errors while reading this book. As a result, I would like to state that it was professionally edited.
There is, however, one thing I did not like about this book. The book started at a slow pace. This initially made reading tiresome. However, as I kept reading, I developed more interest in the book. Aside from this complaint, there is nothing else I dislike about this book. It was a great read for me.
I rate Terms of Service: Subject to Change Without Notice by Craig W. Stanfill 5 out of 5 stars. This is because I enjoyed reading it. The suspense and absence of typographical errors in this book are also part of the reasons I am giving it this rating.
I recommend this book to lovers of science fiction novels. People that love books containing adventure, action and technology would also appreciate this book. However, I do not recommend it to people who are offended by books containing erotic content.
