Terry Brooks then David Eddings.
I went on a big fantasy kick for years, which then became a romance kick (Joanna Lindsey and Amanda Quick), and then an urban fantasy and then... ;)

For me it was Edgar Allen poe and H.P. Lovecraft. I loved reading their stories when I was little and I still do.

First author I had to read everything? Louis L'Amour. My dad got me started on him at a young age, and by the time I was in my late teens, I had all of his books. Love to reread them still!

I have a few authors I've had to read everything by. My first was probably Carolyn Keene (I may be only 24, but i was introduced to her books at a young age, and was hooked!), and in my later years, Ted Dekker. I've also read almost everything by Francine Rivers.

I loved Judy Blume when I was a child. The "Fudge" series kept me up at night, laughing until my sides ached. And I enjoyed her other, more serious books as well.

Terry Pratchett and Robert Rankin. There were a lot less titles when I started, and once I'd caught up, I didn't really bother with the new releases quite as stringently.

Dr. Eugene Trivizas. Hilarious, imaginative, and with many book titles to choose from :)

Lora Leigh, the storyline in her books is interesting even if her characters and how they act is somewhat repetitive.

Rick Riordan! His superb books make a great read. All the prochercys and twists kept me on edge so for that reason I've read all his books and are still getting them when they come out
