Poems are a spontaneous overflow of our feelings on paper. I love this book, which is a collection of poems. I'm equally interested to learn more about Asian culture.

I don't care all that much for poetry, never was in fact. It just takes do much time to riddle out some phrases and find hidden double meanings. Often, reading poetry it is just like craking some code and I don't have patience for it.

Poetry is not my cup of tea and neither is war which some of the poems are dedicated to. Still I'm sure the book will find its reader. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!

From the sample, I enjoyed the poem "Solitaire." The imagery was quite beautiful, and I enjoy free verse/prose poems more than rhymed verse. However, the Reviewer's comments about the way in which women are treated in later verses are troubling, so I won't be reading any further. Nevertheless, congratulations to Mr. Osaki on his achievement.

Thank you for explaining the technicalities of the book. This seems like an interesting book; It invites its readers to reflect on serious subjects and to evoke intense emotions. It is amazing that it is all laid down in only 54 pages. The way women are depicted is unfortunate as it is based on cliches. Bravo on a brilliant review, I loved reading it.

This book encourages the enjoyment of poetry as well as knowledge of Asian culture, particularly among those in American society. I believe the negative portrayal of women was done to send a message. This book would be enjoyable to read.

"Best evidence" by Mark, S. Osaki is a 54-page collection of poems that touches on several themes. However, the author played down women's potential and that's something of concern to me. I congratulate him on #BOTD!

I don’t have any interest in poetries but when I go through the review, I did not stop myself to read this book.Although this contains the concept related to Asian culture and most importantly about the wars.

This is an interesting evocative collection of 39 prose poems in a 54-page book highlighting the Asian-American experience and war. The book is temporarily discounted on Amazon Kindle and has a well-written OnlineBookClub review. Congrats on the BOTD selection.

A short but intense read! “Best Evidence” by Mark S. Osaki, is a collection of 39 prose poems in a 54-page book. Among of the many topics it tackles in the mean of poetry, are asian lifestyles and war.

I’m not big on poems, yet the the poems sound good. Although it's a pity that the Asian concept of patriarchy might have influenced the writing.

Thank you for your balanced take on this collection of poetry and the heads-up on the sexist undertones. The entries in the sample were engaging, and I may come back to this collection later. Congrats on BOTD.
