The author's attention to detail was also evident in the descriptions of the settings and scenes. I could easily imagine the luxurious ship and the glamorous event that was taking place on it.

The author also did a good job of balancing the suspense and action with the character development and relationships. It wasn't all about the mystery, but also about the people trying to solve it.
A reader lives a thousand lives before they die. What is more marvelous, more wholesome, more exquisite, than exploring all the worlds and universes that humanity can ever conceive?
