The author's focus on pre and post-retirement activities sets this book apart from other financial planning guides. The reviewer's rating of 4 out of 5 stars is well-deserved based on the points made in the review.

Good review, I found basically the same problems. There is big part of the book that, as you mentioned, is relative to US / specific states laws and, as consequence, can came as a less useful information for readers from other countries. The intention of the author of making easier to read with jokes goes (sometimes) maybe bit too far. Good job!

This is not a one-size-fits-all approach to financial planning, but rather a method that can be adapted to fit anyone's unique situation. I also appreciated the author's candid discussion of the potential risks and pitfalls that can arise during retirement and how to plan for them.

A reader lives a thousand lives before they die. What is more marvelous, more wholesome, more exquisite, than exploring all the worlds and universes that humanity can ever conceive?

I have just finished reading the book, I also did not like the excess of humor. Nonetheless, Reconfigurement by Alan Fleischauer is a good book for readers to read.

Very interesting review!
