A murder mystery being unraveled by someone who loved his deceased friend and finding an untouchable culprit with so many twists and uncertainties must be a great read... Thank you for the review.

"Tree of Redemption" by Jim Davidson is an interesting murder mystery whose plot takes place in Brownsville and Laredo. I like that the author uses simple language. The book is professionally edited.

I was quite surprised to find out that this book is a murder mystery; based on the beautiful cover, I did not see that coming. However, a story were relationships play such an important role sounds like worth reading. Thanks for the lovely review!

Great review! I wanted to just sample this novel but I found myself reading on and on...It is very well-written, and fast-paced, with interesting characters and lovely descriptions. Congrats on BOTD!

This book sounds pleasantly complex and layered. Not everyone will like the in media res approach to the structure, but I happen to find nonlinear narratives fascinating. I’ll put this on my “to read” list for when I have more free time. Thank you for the helpful review.

A BOOK BY JIM DAVIDSON FOR LOVERS OF HISTORY OF MURDER AND CRIMES.
I APPRECIATED THAT THE AUTHOR SPECIFIED THE IMPORTANCE OF MAINTAINING A SOLID AND RELIABLE RELATIONSHIP WITH PEOPLE.
THEN, THE OBJECTIVES CANNOT BE ACHIEVED BY THEM ALONE WITHOUT THE HELP OF PEOPLE.GOOD REVIEW

Thanks for the great review. I love the setting for this book and the multicultural characters. One of my biggest complaints about mystery stories is the characters' lack of development, and Davidson seems to have overcome this very well.

I got this book by chance with a whole bunch of the small town's mysteries and read it in the middle of nowhere during blackout. But extreme circumstances aren't the main reason I remember it so well and fondly, because it is all thanks to excellent storyline, it is somewhat alike to quest with vengeance and antiquities) Special thanks for believable characters and congrats on BOTD!

This murder mystery weaves Hispanic and American cultures together. Chris Hamilton travels to southern Texas to discover how his mentor, Armando Guerra, mysteriously died. I cannot wait to see if Chris solves the murder and who he gets romantically involved with. Great book review!

A murder story that highlights the importance of building and maintaining strong and trusting relationships with people sounds intriguing. Also, it is appealing that the author speaks in convincing and plain terms.

Between Chris getting entangled in decades of animosity and vengeance, and the historic Hispanic and American culture in this book, there is a lot to look forward to.

A well-written mystery isn't that common. It's nice that the writer could master such a piece.

I love murder mysteries, so I'll check this book out. I wonder what Chris will find out in his search for Armando's killer.
