This novel destroys the cliche about time healing all wounds creating a story of regret in a thriller with complex interpersonal relationships, including a reversal of roles. The murder of children makes it even more dramatic. Thank you for your great review!

I am curious to know what Gilly and Sally did at the age of 12 years old that made the whole town hate them even after more than 20 years. I like mystery and thriller but not so much horror and suspense as this seem to be. I think I’m going to skip this. Thanks for your review!

This book interests me and I think one of the lessons is that there is always a repercussion for our actions. The fact that what Gilly did 26 years ago still guilt-trips her is enough evidence for my previously mentioned point. I enjoyed reading the review. Congratulations on BOTD

"Dead Reckoning" by Lea O'Harra is a story about an adult,Gilly, whose childhood memories still hunts. I learned the devastating effect of hate in this book.

I will have to read this book to understand it completely, because there are a lot of scenes that I can't put together. However, the book sounds interesting because I'm a lover of mystery books. Thanks for the review.

This review is fully thought out and written to describe the context of this book. Based on the review, one can see and expect this read to be interesting and perhaps somewhat disturbing, but definitely one to keep you glued to the pages. I am a big fan of mystery and thriller novels and although the beginning description of keeping a dead baby is a bit disconcerting, the summary of the plot is enough for me to give this one a try.

I am not a fan of crime thrillers. I usually find it boring. I don't know if I will like this book. I will have to try it.
Review was good but a bit confusing.

A suspenful thriller "Dead Reckoning" by Lea O'Harra, which regretfully retells actions performed over twenty-six years by a terrified and remorseful lady. The story appears captivating to read.

We all have had to keep secrets, especially to protect the ones we love. I can relate to Gilly's predicament. This looks like an interesting story.

I enjoyed the review, it made me understand the book which appears to be a mixture of horror and crime thriller. Gilly is haunted by past events she cannot undo and it has affected many areas of her life including her relationship with her mother and husband, Toshi. It would be interesting to see what happens to her in the end.

This sounds like a very thrilling and engaging book. I also wonder how the dead newborn baby is connected with the murders and why such an anymosity still present towards Gilly after 26 years. It will be interesting to read this book. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!
