This book sounds like a wonderfully horrific and grotesque tale. Hate can be a tricky subject to cover without the story becoming cringeworthy or a downer, but this book doesn’t seem to take it in either of those directions, instead going down a more psychologically thrilling path. Thank you for the helpful review.

'Official Review: Dead Reckoning' by Lea O' Harra gives the readers a good concept of the engaging crime thriller story. I like the way the reviewer relates the book to larger issues. The point that hate and crime are prominent themes in this lovely crime story is worth mentioning in the review. Also, the point that the book is a thriller that makes good use of an old diary to travel to Gilly's past life, as mentioned in the review, is remarkable for readers. Nice to learn that the book is suitable for lovers of thrillers and suspense!

This story is quite strange and interesting though. There are so many twists and plots in it involving many characters. I think I will get a copy to learn more about the story. Nice review.

This well-written thriller in raising awareness of people unwilling to let go of their hate and things are not as they appear seems like it will be a suspenseful read. Great review!

It looks like the consequences of what Gilly and Sally did in the past are looming. This book is filled with horror and intense suspense. Nice review. Congratulations on winning BOTD.

A suspenseful-dramatic-horror story? This is going to be an extremely exciting read. So many questions just popping in my head as I read the review. I really hope there wasn't a clift-hanger for this book. Thank you for a fantastic and insightful review.

This sounds like an excellent, juicy thriller. Unfortunately, any book that features danger to young children - a dead baby, in this case - sends me in the opposite direction. So, this book is not for me. Nevertheless, I want to congratulate the author on her achievement.

Investigations and crimes always create this dramatic effect on readers, because it leaves them so curious about finding out the truth and exact actions. Congrats on being the BOTD.

This crime thriller has an engaging plotline that leaves the reader guessing and filled with suspense. My favorite aspect is the themes and emotions evoked from knowing how time does not actually heal all wounds and that regret can live after years later. Congrats on the BOTD!

I agree, Bertha! Between the sample and the review I have already purchased the book! Can't wait to unravel the story behind the baby in the cemetery and all the crimes that seem to have come after. Congratulations to the author for attaining BOTD honors and great intriguing review.
