When the book sample came to an end, I wanted to keep on reading. I admire Stephen for rising above all of the adversity in his childhood. I was so happy he could move out of his toxic environment and live independently with Ben. I am rooting for him to break away from his past and find love and happiness in his future. Terrific book review!

This novel centers around emotions, relationships, and romance. I love Stephen’s courage even though he was wrongly accused he still pursued his passion.

The Rock at the Bottom: Lorna and Tristan Series #3" by Cynthia Hilston. The story follows Stephen, who wants to escape his abusive father's life and become a famous author. After meeting Julie and falling in love, he gets married, but the question remains whether he can lead a better life than his father.

not a fan of strong language. Although this isn't my kind of story, the storyline of this romance fiction is worth reading. I hope Stephen would find his own happy ending. Amazing review!

I love the character displayed by Stephen, not allowing what others think about him, or the hatred towards him to affect him. But rather he chooses to be better at what he does. The author really did a great job of explaining the experience most people do through. Nice review.

Growing up in a home being despised and scorned by people who ideally should be in your corner can be trying for anyone. I hope Stephen was able to break the cycle after his marriage and took notes of where he was behaving similarly to his family. Well done for this review.

Stephen definitely had it tough, however, it is important we sustain the mindset that we can make the decision to lead a life of purpose and we do not have to sustain genealogical patterns. It would be great to see Stephen win. This is a well captured review.

Although this sounds like a well written work of fiction, it also seems to be a sad story. I will pass on this one. Thank you for your review!

I’m looking forward to digging into this novel to find out if Stephen, despite the painful life with his family will be able to change the course of his destiny with his wife Julie. Will his determination lead him to build a happy relationship and tackle the different roles he portrays in his community?

Although one cannot change the way others act, one can own their reactions and their own decisions. I am glad Stephen turned to writing to escape the bad situation in his family life.

'Official Review: The Rock at the Bottom' by Cynthia Hilston is concise and positive. It describes all the bright points related to the author's work for readers. The point that the book is romantic fiction is worth mentioning in the review. Also, the point that this novel has many life lessons is remarkable for readers. It was great to learn that the author employed a satisfying amount of suspense and humor in his story!

I'm relieved to learn that, despite having a drunkard as a father, Stephen chose to create his own path and not follow in his father's ways, and that having to deal with allegations of murder is something unjust on his part.

Stephen’s character is interesting. Being branded as a killer by your own family is terribly painful. Also, writing down your thoughts instead of vocalizing them is tragic because you have no one who’s gonna listen to you but your paper and pen. Heartfelt review, thank you
