David is an important figure in the Old Testament. I am curious to see this modern retelling of his story. Shapeshifting Amalekites? That I need to see.

I don't like biblical stories, so I won't be reading this one. Good review though.

Given the historical biblical background of this novel, I find that there's a lot I can relate to. The author's style of writing is unique and exceptional. In turn, this contributes effectively to the overall experience.

Biblical stories accurately told are one of my favorites. The story of David is captivating, especially, what makes him endeared to God. This would be a good read. An amazing review.

I like the sound of the historic aspects of this story. However I am not sure how much historical truth would be in a biblical story so I won't be reading this book. Great review, very interesting an enjoyable to read!

Fantastic review! The review had all of the aspects of the book that it should have. It made me interested in reading the book even though I know what the story is about. I will put this on my must read list.

Indeed David was and he is still the apple of God's eyes. The story has a strong and firm role to play in believers lives biblically. I just love the story of David. Great review.

"David God's Chosen crucible" by Joseph Ganci is a biblical novel that begins with David's anointing. The two most important characters in the book are David and Saul. The book is professionally edited.

Religious fiction is not my cup of tea but the review is very enthusiastic. Due to his writing style the author managed to tell this ancient story in a unigue, "refreshing" way, so that a lot of people will definitely choose it just to revive the story in their memories and spend some good time reading. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!

A modern retelling of David's story could be quite interesting, according to the review. However, the biblical stories do not appeal to me.Congrats on BOTD!

I have always said that the Bible is full of great, adventurous stories that could perfectly serve as storylines for fictional novels. I will be curious to find out how the author tells David's story.

David is one of my favorite characters in the Bible. I also love well-written fiction based on Bible stories, because they can offer whole new revelations and insights to these familiar stories. I can't wait to read this book that portraits David and King Saul. Thank you for the intriguing review!
