I haven't read any of the David stories from the bible. I only know that he fought against Goliath, but I know very little about his history as the one God chose to be king of Israel. As it is a retelling, it is excellent; a version that seems suitable for modern readers.

From the review, the retelling sounds well-executed. However, since Bible-inspired stories are not really my forte, I will have to pass this one. Thanks for the awesome review

The author made to tell David's story in a modern way and the 21st century style. I am sure that this book will be interesting because David's story is naturally interesting. Congratulations to the author on winning book of the day.

Biblical fiction isn't a genre that is interesting to me. It does sound like the writer has written it so it can be understood by anyone. I'm going to pass on this one. Thanks for the honest review.

David God's Chosen crucible" by Joseph Ganci sounds interesting. It's creative to read about a possibility of events that occurred in the Bible, which was not explained.

The name david is mentioned a few times in mythology. Considering the fact, the awards it has got and the review, it should be quite an interesting journey.

Although I don't find Biblical history interesting, I do find the
...the war techniques of ancient times. For example, the armies are using fire and smoke to delay the enemies' onslaught. Ambush and signal arrows during battle combat are quite amazing tactics in this novel. In detailed battle combat, the game of war is well-dramatized. Plus, the more interesting part is the role of a messenger. Of course, the author never misses including the important role of friendship and kinship in war, and even a personal agenda doesn't matter when it comes to war.
- quite fascinating and intriguing. Thank you for writing exactly what we needed to know. Good job!

After reading a sample of the book, I agree with your comment about the portrayal of war in the book. Although I was surprised by the level of detail, I believe it could be a plus for readers who enjoy immersive storytelling. Personally, this book is not my cup of tea, but thank you for the insightful review :)

I remember the days of Children Sunday School and how these stories were told, especially the one with Jonathan. This book from the review is a great one.

Congrats on BOTD!
The historical elements of this tale sound interesting. This might interest viewers who like historical fiction that is based on the Bible. I won't be reading this book because I'm unsure of how much historical truth there would be in a biblical tale.

I like bible stories retold in novels especially when the author dramatizes the storyline, it refreshes the entire old story into something new, this book David God's chosen crucible will be a good read and the review was written well, presenting the juice I expect.
