King David's story is very interesting and inspiring. From his early struggles, to his anointing; everything about his story is noteworthy. I would love to see a dramatized version of this story other than the biblical perspective.

Ganci gives a thorough picture of the ancient society in which David lived, and his prose is engrossing and vivid. The work offers a vivid portrait of the political, cultural, and religious climate of the time and is thoroughly researched.

This historical fiction will interest those who like biblical stories. The fight between David and King Saul is certainly an exciting topic and I am curious to see how the author reimagines it. Congratulations on BOTD.

This is an intriguing historical fiction work with educational value that emphasizes the author's distinctive method of dramatizing the near-possibilities of David's life events.

As a Christian, I can relate well with the story in this book, about the life of David in the Bible. I recommend "David God's Chosen crucible" by Joseph Ganci to every Christian.

It sounds a good historical fiction about Israeli king David. It is interesting to know that the author well presented different aspects of David's life and war. Congrats on BOTD.

David is one of the most interesting and popular characters of Old testament along with this incredible destiny and all adventures he has gone through. Im curious to see this version of the inspiring tale, mostly the authors interpretation and unique viewpoint of biblical events.

The story talks about how king Saul was after David's life, the newly anointed king by God. The story also talks about how David had a chance to kill king Saul but chose not to touch God's anointed one. Bible story has always been my favorite right from my childhood. Nice review.

A biblical stories with references to biblical events and verses. Being a Muslim, I am intrigued about how this story is told as compared to the Muslims. Even better is the fact that it is told in the modern version which I find more interesting as the adaptability of such story as this is hard. Thanks for the review.
