I would have to say that my favorite author is Louise Hay. I am an avid self help book reader and I like
Ms. Hay's outlook and message. Simply put - change your thoughts and you change your life.

My favorite author is Samuel Taylor Coleridge. I first read his work and life story when I was in undergraduate study at Elizabethtown College and I have not stopped loving him since.

I really like Mohsin Hamid. He is a great author. I was fascinated by his book the reluctant fundamentalist. After that I read his other two books. He writes well.

I have so many that I read on a regular basis. Heather Graham is a favorite as well as Nicholas Sparks. I also love reading new authors or new to me.

My favorite authors are Debbie MaComber, Stephen W. Hines, Catherine Coulter, and Nora Roberts. Debbie MaComber writes sequels (92 Pacific Boulevard, 16 Lighthouse Row-based on real places). Mr. Hines wrote a book about Laura Ingails Wilder that I really like from the show Little House on the Prarie. Both Nora Roberts and Catherine Coulter write interesting books.

Tolkien is my absolute favorite. His imagination knows no boundaries, and his ability to bring it all to life is astounding.

For me, that would be Rohinton Mistry. The depth of psychology you find in his books is one of its kind.

Richard Bach & Og Mandino for inspiration,
Gillian Flynn & VC Andrews for mystery & suspense,
Suzanne Collins & C.S. Lewis for fantasy.
Douglas Adams for comic relief.

J.K. Rowling for all of the above!

I just finished Ender's Game, an amazing book. Now I have to write a book report on it for the Marine Corps.
