Which do you read faster - an e-book or paperback?

That's my thing as well; I love e-books just because I always have them. When I'm reading a paperback I find myself out somewhere with time on my hands wishing I had my dang book. I usually plow through ebooks much faster as a result.

I read ebooks faster than I read paperback. It's just that the headaches that come with staring at your screen for too long makes me opt for paperback sometimes.

The e-book is definitely more efficient to use when it comes to highlighting, taking notes, and keeping bookmarks. So I choose e-books to read all the time. I think I'm faster reading that way.

I prefer a good old paperback book any day over any other medium. For some reason, I find the Kindle, while very handy, does not really contribute to the experience of the story. I will read the book on a kindle a lot faster, but I enjoy a paperback book a lot more.

Reading online can be distracting sometimes and also messes with my eyes after a while of staring at the screen.
It's a lot easier to maintain focus if I have a physical copy soo paperback>

I find that its harder for me to concentrate on a book when it is in e-book form. Paperback is easier for me to read because I'm using my hands to flip the pages and it gets me more sensory involved. I have yet to be able to find an e-reader that I like. I prefer the good old fashioned paperback better.

It depends on the environment, but e-books are easier to read in my opinion, especially if you have an e-reader and can carry it around all the time. I can literally put my kindle into my pocket and leave to anywhere.

I've never really like e-books, so I always take my time with them. I sometimes can take about a week to finish an e-book compared to a paperback, which only takes me about 3 days on average to finish.

I like ebooks because I can read them on the go. I cannot log my library of interesting hardcover books everywhere I go. That will be ridiculous. But I understand your reservations.
