Why do we see so many AI-themed novels lately? And then they are in the news too. Not for me but I like that there is the twist and AI are the slaves. Great review.

Just imagining how AI would control the world, I think it is to some extent. I hope Kim survives the brutal world she finds herself in. Congrats on BOTD.

"The Prophecy of the Heron" by Craig W. Stanfill is a highly entertaining book with a dystopian setting run by AI. The characters are emotionally engaging, and the pacing is fast, punchy, and to the point. While the dialogue can be off-putting at times, overall it's a recommended read for science fiction fans who enjoy a mix of cyberpunk and fantastical elements. Congrats on BOTD!

This is a really interesting series of books. As you said, the author makes the books very quick to read with his style, it already happened to me with Terms of Service and I loved it. This time is the same. Great review!

I have never imagined what it would be like for the world to be controlled by an AI, even to the point where they control every human activity. I guess I will learn that from this book.

Controversial issue, because on the one hand the "world that is run by AI" will be rid if such common flaws as corruption, nepotism and bribery, but on the other it would be ruled by rationality and logic which often are more cruel than any incompetent government.

This is an interesting review of an equally interesting book. I've read book one in the series and I look forward to finding out what the author has whipped up this time around.

Even since I had a chance to look at the first book about Kim, I was curious about what would happen to her. Thank you for your review.

Interesting review, but I'm not interested because I don't like dystopian themed literature. Nevertheless, congrats on winning BOTD.

This science fiction novel describes a depressing dystopian world in which AIs control all aspects of life. Although fictional this plot seems possible. Kim's exile for the crime of "unsanctioned intimacy" shows how tyrannical that world can be.

This is my favourite sci-fi novel so far. The author exceeded my expectations in this book. It was full of action and thrillers; I couldn't put it down till I finished it. One of the things I appreciated about this book is the description of the virtual world where the AIs reside. Thanks for your thorough analysis. Great review!

This sounds like an interesting, fast-paced novel for lovers of AI and science fiction. I love that it can be read on its own or as part of a series. It's also great to hear the protagonist is a courageous character who does not give up. Thanks for a wonderful review!
