Thank you for your great review. I'm glad that you enjoyed the book. I don't really care for the science fiction genre, though I did like this one a little better than the first book by the author. I'm sure many will enjoy the character development and the pacing. I like the way you mixed in several movies to describe this book. I'm going to pass on it though.

Your review sounds intriguing, I hope the AIs don't rebel at some point because that could be devastating to humans after such poor treatments given to them. Congrats on BOTD!!

This science-fiction novel seems like it is full of adventure and action even though it deals with dark themes. Great review!

Thank you for this very interesting review. You have shown us some super good points and been honest with others. I love it!!
But after reading the sample and the alert in the beginning, since there are sex scenes and profanity, I won’t be reading it. I had hoped to enjoy it too

Fiction seems to have found a new antagonist in the form of AI, and this story reflects the fabulous portrayal of AI. I liked the rebellious character of Kim in a dystopian world and her struggle to win her freedom.

I'm not quite sure if I'll be reading this as I'm not a fan of sci-fi. However my gut does tell me to give it a try🤭. Well done on an insightful review.

Actually enjoyed the action-filled fictitious scenes. Though the settings and plot sometimes moves away from track in an unexplainable plot, it still posses this thrilling effect and a sustainable urge to continue reading. Yet, a little patch here and there would make the novel a top notch.

A novel set in a dystopian world run by AI. A young protagonist is caught amidst a state of rebellion. The novel explores a dark theme but I can see how this might attract those who liked George Orwell's 1984. Congrats on BOTD!

Craig W. Stanfill seems to be good in writing dystopian themes. The issue of freedom in an AI run world controlled by others seems to be an interesting sci-fi. I would like to read this sometime. Your review is very well written. Congratulations on the BOTD!

I'm beginning to fall in love with Craig's writing style and this standalone is a very interesting fiction about Kim and her life in the controlled world by AI.

Wow, the cover looks unique, really attracted me towards the book. It's a novel that makes readers pause and consider their perspectives on fate, free will, and the human condition. Thanks for the review.

I love good books with well-developed characters and tight dialogue. It seems like The Prophecy of the Heron by Craig W. Stanfill might have both but the dialogue becomes sketchy at times according to the reviewer. I think it may be difficult to write a couple or a few books where you’ve introduced new words and keep that new language straight for new readers. This book and Stanfills’ Terms of Service sound like really interesting sci-fi novels.
If you're going through hell, keep going.

"The Prophecy of the Heron" by Craig W. Stanfill is a story set in a dystopian world that is run by AI that controls lives including what one can eat. Intimacy must be sanctioned or the couple is charged with a crime. Kim is found guilty of unsanctioned intimacy with Shan and she is exiled to the outer districts of the world. She finds herself in the midst of a rebellion against the large corporations that run the world and AI are slaves that report to the corporations. The characters are intriguing and the book is very well written. Kim is determined to survive while being hunted for her involvement with the rebellion. This is an exciting read that I am adding to my To-Read shelf. Very good review.

I have been wondering about the sequel to Craig W Stanfill's Terms of Service and now I've seen it. Reading Terms of Service has me hooked already on the series and I will definitely read this just to satisfy my curiosity. AI's are great but not to the point of trying to suppress humanity aggressively.

The Prophecy of Heron is a sci-fi adventure novel depicting a world run by artificial intelligence. The protagonist, Kim, is struggling to fit in a world that is dark and oppressive. Where does this go? It's not clear. Thanks for your review.
