I agree with you 100%. I've reviewed 5 books in a row, now I want to take a time out to read 1 books that I'm really excited to read, and then I'll go back and do more reviews. I think mixing the task is a great idea.

Yes, I think is important to keep the balance. Which one are you going to read now? Just asking. I have just finished The Magician's Secret, I had read so much about it in the forums (more being BOTM) that I bought it for pleasure.

I started reading Squeeze as it was a book of the day a while back. I'm over half way through and even though I'm finding it a bit blah I'm committed to finishing it. Then I want to read Unraveling which is the first of the Sean Nolan series as the whole series sounds interesting. What's the next one on your list?

I think I'm going to get the opportunity of reviewing The Prophecy of the Heron. I really enjoyed Terms of Service and I fancy keep going in the story. And it was book of the day as well. I will put Unraveling in my list!

I just saw your review of Terms of Service, lol I forgot that's also on my list to read and review. I'm just waiting to spend $50 at Amazon to be eligible ;). Then I'll get to The Prophecy of the Heron. Wow, too many books to read and not enough time.

I saw it, thanks for your comment. Just after posting here, I have downloaded The Prophecy of the Heron and I will start it today. Literally, so many books to read. I have a list of probably 7 books waiting to be read but this one has skipped the queue directly to the first position!

I have only recently started reviewing books. Before that, I had always read for pleasure. With the book reviews, I find myself reading books that I would not have ordinarily selected, and I find myself thoroughly enjoying most of them. As a result, I am extremely grateful to Online Book Club for introducing me to new literature and broadening my horizons.

Same, I always try to choose a book of my interest so I can enjoy while reviewing. Sometimes I really need other books that aren't on the review list. I read it way quicker when I do it just for pleasure!

I love reading so most of the time, I read for fun, but reading for review is an added advantage.

I started reading the review simply because of my passion to read. I was thrilled to find out about a website like this one and felt like it was just the one for me. An opportunity to take part in my hobby reading and review them for a pay, truly amazing.

I always read for pleasure or for research when I write my own books (and need information to get something historically correct). As for reviewing, I do not think I am wired for that or have the necessary skills to do it well, so I am happy to leave that to more capable people than myself.

Hi Myrah, I used to love reading so much, but 'life' got in the way and I stopped, this website and the community here has reinvigorated my love for reading and like you I agree that reviewing is an added advantage.

Hi Hee, I absolutely agree with you. To get paid for something you love to do and at the same time introduce books to others who may not have known about them is an awesome oopportunity.

Hi BravoJedi, I may just have to read both your books and review them for you ;)
