Urgent Situation is a Christian children's book written by Linda Wills. Alpha is a very brave preteen girl whose family has experienced financial hardship and has been forced to downsize. As a result, Alpha enrolled in a public high school instead of a private one. When something terrible happens at her new school while she is still getting used to it, Alpha turns to God and her own wits for guidance.

Young readers may appreciate the author's original illustrations, which are only at the start of the book. The book opens with an introduction to the story's protagonists and antagonists, complete with a childlike illustration of each. Before getting into the main story, the author provides some context for the characters. Any young reader can benefit from this book because it teaches them how to use prayer and maybe some wit as tools to deal with dangerous situations. The author's use of a childlike voice in the narration will appeal to young readers. This book teaches young readers that God can hear their silent prayers just as well as their spoken ones.

The author's use of stories and connections to biblical stories was something I appreciated. It was intriguing to me that the protagonists were mostly financially secure. You mostly read about stories like this when the main characters have lost their way or come from a poor background.

I didn't like how the author's initial character descriptions were blurry and hard to read in the eBook. I also would have appreciated a heading or some sort of warning that she was about to describe the characters. The choppy formatting of the eBook made it difficult to read.

The book's powerful message to Christian children is why I gave it 4 out of 5 stars. This book would be a great addition to any Christian's home library. Unfortunately, the eBook's formatting made it difficult to read because every other line had an interruption in it, and I had to deduct a point. Aside from a few typos, I think the book was professionally edited.

I recommend this book to Christian kids aged 8 to 12.

The best place to get guidance when a thing goes bad is God. Alpha here has proven it to be so. Life is more complex than handling it alone. God who is the creator of man knows the best for man .thanks for this wonderful review.
