There are so many activities you can do with your grandparents. You will discover one of these together with the young protagonist of Crafty Charlotte and the Magic Room by Meaghan McGill. Charlotte is a young girl who goes to her grandparents' house when her mother has to go to work. When she is there, she follows her grandmother to her craft room and discovers wonderful things. Her Grandma shows her how to sew a pillow and helps her granddaughter create something even more beautiful. What will Charlotte do with her grandmother?

Crafty Charlotte and the Magic Room is a children's book that impressed me even though I am a grown-up woman. Above all, I loved it because it reminded me of activities that I myself did with my grandmother. Aside from these personal memories, however, I liked the story of Charlotte and her grandmother because I believe it can inspire many young readers to learn a new skill in the company of a person belonging to an older generation; together, they will do something useful and have fun at the same time.

I must also add that the images in this book are beautiful, and I would never get tired of looking at them. Grandma's face, in particular, is very sweet and makes you happy to look at her. Moreover, Charlotte is represented as a delightful child with a lovely expression on her face.

I found only one typographical error in Crafty Charlotte and the Magic Room, but it is almost irrelevant and does not disturb the reading.

I do not think this book has any negative sides, so I rate it 5 out of 5 stars. I recommend it to all children who love to read good stories and who like to discover new things. I am sure Charlotte will be an example for all of them.
