In Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula, R.F. Kristi penned an amazing book for children that features two humans, a dog, four cats, and a hamster. These animals referred to themselves as the ‘cat detectives.’ An event was held in order to promote peace and unity between the two parts of Korea. In this event, Inca's human mother, Missy, was chosen as one of the judges in a competition. An opponent is set to ruin Missy's career, but the cat detectives plan on stopping him. How will this group of animals stop a human while still planning to help a friend reunite with his sister?

Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula is full of drama and action. It is written to keep children entertained while teaching them some valuable lessons along the line. One of the major things kids can pick from this novel is the spirit of teamwork. All the animals worked together to achieve their common aim despite the challenges that were thrown their way. No one ever gave up at one point, and they all involved one another at each step. It's also beautiful how the author was able to maintain the plot’s essential concept while still introducing a variety of locales into the story. I also think it’s beautiful how the author presented the existing conflicts between North Korea and South Korea. She did it in such a mild way keeping in mind that her target audience is children.

I honestly do not have a dislike for the contents of this book as it was written to perfection, in my opinion.

Based on the points above, I think it’s fair to rate Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula 5 out of 5. There's no reason to remove a star because, in addition to the fact that I found nothing to dislike about the book, I also found no error in it. It was exceptionally well edited, and I must give credit to the editors the author engaged their services.

Children are the perfect audience for this book, but everyone who loves stories about animals will equally enjoy it.

Lovers of children's stories will enjoy this one. I may get it and hand to my little nieces. It clearly has a couple valuable life lessons for the kids.
