A story set in a distant future where technology has taken over and most societies are ruled by corporate giants. It sounds horrific. I'm not really a fan of these kind of books but congrats on BOTD!

Congrats on BOTD!
The review was interesting and well-written. I adored the tense scenario where Rickey discovered his friend Gom dead. It piqued my interest and made me want to learn more. This is fascinating. I enjoy reading articles that are written about the future. Why was the American flag prohibited?

I’m a big fan of sci-fi thrillers. I think it feels good to be able to see different ways technology may be used, both good and bad, in the future. I wonder if Rickey's boss would find out he thinks otherwise and set him up with everything. Congratulations on winning BOTD.

This review of "Rickey Montey, Hero of His Age" by Richard Hamerski is overwhelmingly positive, with the reviewer commending the book thought-provoking plot, well-developed characters, and realistic portrayal of a near-future society. The book is recommended for fans of fictional mystery novels and readers interested in politics, but not for younger audiences due to some advanced topics.

Sounds like a very interesting read. Although I'm not a sci-fi fan, I must say I think the story behind it is good. I'm curious to see what Ricky's decision going to be. Thanks for a well written and informative review.

In this futuristic world there is a hero in the making by the name Rickey. He is torn between fighting for the humans or the robots. Which side will he choose?

Personally, I enjoy political thrillers, especially those set in sci-fi and futuristic realms. As you mentioned, I have found these types of books to be very thought-provoking, as the characters confront various obstacles and the reader compares their actions to what they would have done. This sounds like an interesting book. Thank you for a great review!

Lots of people will get some glance of the futuristic events. As the Rickey Montey made some tough decisions, it might be the case that some of us have to make those similar decisions in future.

I really don't like that Rickey was made to take up roles of outside his job description. Overall, I enjoyed reading this review and I am assured that reading this book will be more interesting. Congratulations on BOTD

A mystery novel with a futuristic setting, particularly one with this kind of plot, sounds unique enough to pique my interest. I also feel that Rickey could be a very relatable character, especially when it comes to his original situation of having to survive on the few jobs he could find. I think most readers could relate to that struggle. Thank you for the helpful review.
