Review of IslanD-25
IslanD-25 is a sequel to Project Humanity 7.0, but can be read independently. It follows the life of the main character, Alex, in a fictional world called Crystal. Alex's goal is to evolve as a person, both psychologically and internally. The book explores his journey to improve his love relationships and inner evolution as he grows from a young man to a father. The novel compares life in Crystal to life on Earth, highlighting the advantages of the former. The ultimate message is that while the environment can help an individual evolve, the search for love and the understanding of the mystery of life are personal responsibilities that cannot be guaranteed by the environment. The book urges readers to cooperate in improving the system in which we live and to find our own way in personal research. The central themes IslanD-25 of are social and economic, and the author hopes to communicate fundamental thoughts to a wide audience.
As a reader, I was able to fully immerse myself in the world created by the author, Doer. The differences between the Earth-System and the Crystal-System were fascinating, and once I grasped them, I found myself completely absorbed in Alex's journey and the various challenges he faced. I particularly enjoyed how each chapter took place in a different year, allowing me to see how both the systems and characters progressed over time. Despite initially taking me some time to adjust to the fictional world, I can say that I loved this book overall.
I did enjoy the book as a whole and found it to be very well-written and edited. However, I did struggle a bit in the beginning to fully immerse myself in the story's fictional world. Although this didn't take away from my overall enjoyment of the book, it was a slight obstacle that I had to overcome.
I am happy to give this book a 5 out of 5 stars rating. The way the author created the world and characters was exceptional. Once I understood the differences between the Earth-System and the Crystal-System, I was completely absorbed into the story. I loved reading about Alex's journey and the challenges he faced. Additionally, I appreciated the unique structure of the book, where each chapter took place in a different year, allowing me to see how the systems and people evolved over time. The book was well-edited with no errors, and I couldn't find any aspect of it that I disliked enough to deduct stars from my rating. Overall, I think this book was an outstanding work of fiction.
The ideal audience for this book would be readers who enjoy science fiction with well-developed world-building and a focus on character development. Those who appreciate stories that involve time-travel, parallel universes, and interstellar adventures would also find this book appealing. Additionally, readers who enjoy books with intricate plots and complex themes would appreciate the depth and thought-provoking nature of this story.
