It spoke about how diseases, eating habits, lifestyle, etc., can positively or negatively impact your physical and mental health. I agree that tools of communication are greatly needed, in our current society as well as those in the past. I am curious what research the book called upon to make insinuations about our modern-day communication vs. in the past, and how we can see its detrimental effects. While the claims regarding the downfalls of our current communication seem a little overly dramatic, it’s hard to argue with being rooted in empathy and care. I’m curious to read more of this book.

I don't understand what is meant by lack of communication. We have more ways to communicate and keep in touch than ever before.
