Since I have started reading more frequently again my list is growing but my constant favorites have always been James Patterson (mainly the days before he started working with co-authors) and Iris Johansen. In recent years, I have added Dean Koontz and Phaedra Weldon.

My favourite author... Nope there is too many to choose from. For example rick riordon for his techniques of constantly having plot changes and prophecys which I enjoy in books. Of course there is the childhood favourites like roahl doal for his great sense of humour. :D

I can't decide which author I like more - John Grisham or Nicholas Sparks :)

I don't think I could choose one!
I used to absolutely love Michael Morpurgo, for his emotional, heart-wrenching stories!
But I think J K Rowling is up there- purely for her imagination. I'm yet to read her 2 most recent books, but the Harry Potter series is so cleverly thought up. I think she's a genius.
I also recently read a book called 'The Night Circus' by Erin Morgenstern. I don't think she's written anything else yet, as I think she's pretty new on the scene. But I cannot wait for her to publish something else, because I adored 'The Night Circus', and the way she writes and her ideas truly inspire me!

I have to say my favorite author is JD Robb (Nora Roberts). I love how she writes about strong women and her stories keep me interested even after she has written so many, they are all good for me.

One of the best pieces of advice I ever got when training to be a personal trainer was ‘always make time to exercise yourself - it’s your job to be fit.’ And I think that’s the same for writers, you should always try to make the time to read. However, that’s sometimes easier said than done, and my new year’s resolution this year is to read more! But when I do get the chance I read very much within my own genre – Marian Keyes, Sophie Kinsella, I particularly admire Cecelia Ahern’s vivid imagination in her later books. She’s not afraid to try something different than books about shopping, fashion and shoes! My writing hero however is not an author, but a script writer – Richard Curtis. He even has a small cameo part in my novel!

Colleen Hoover and Jamie McGuire. They have such intricate writing styles and will entrap you within the first paragraph.

wow, now this is a difficult question to answer. It is probably a question I would give a different answer to whenever I was asked it too. However, right here and now I must probably go for Ford Madox Ford. His use of dialogue and language in 'Parade's End' truly immortalizes the period and the protagonist Christopher Tietjens is so strong and yet so weak at the same time.

My favorite author is Dee Henderson. I have read all of her books except "Before I Wake", and I am getting ready to read her newest book "Unspoken".

Stephen King for me as well! I read "IT" when I was young and just fell in love! Though some endings... upset me, I still love the books!

James Lee Burke. With a doubt, he is by far my favorite author.

I would say my favorite Author is Paulo Coelho. I read his novel "The Alchemist" and totally loved it. The way he writes is fabulous.
