This book is a good guide to handling stubborn children and provides insight to understand why they behave that way. I wish I had this book years ago when raising my toddlers. A good read not only for parents but for everyone who has to deal with children.

I love the fact that Kiyoshi's parents went for a child's consultation in a bid to help their child out of stubbornness. I would also love to know more about "relaxed pleasure" and how it will help stubborn children. Great review. Congratulations on BOTD.

I never knew children could be controlled with a relaxed pleasure because I had always thought of counseling as a way to aid in changing a child's behavior. I believe if relaxed pleasure can help calm a stubborn child, then it can help reduce stress and anxiety too. It would be a lovely book to read.

He also provided various stories of stubborn children that he had applied the method on and the outcome. This serves as testimonials indicating that relaxed pleasure can bring about positive results if used the right way. The author also presented the idea of three emotions and explained it in a way that is easier to understand. He even used it to classify children into various Autistic conditions base on the degree of each emotion.
-I like the fact that he has various stories of children and that this method helps all of them, even Autistic ones. Great review. Thank you.

I believe this book will be a great addition to a family's library if they have a strongwilled child, who does not tend to listen. Great review.

This is one of the reasons why I fear having a child till this day because I don’t believe I can handle a stubborn child, they sometimes could be so frustrating, coming from someone who has a baby brother. But I would love to find out what this relaxed pleasure is about and how it can help.

Great review to a great work! Thanks for the clear yet enthusing review. The book is focused to offer guidance and more so training to parents and their children with issues which can be severe! It's a great idea and is comprehensible as it os explained through the theory and practice based on the principles discussed in the book! It's a must read I believe, I am interested in its experiments with understanding a child's expression!

This seems like an interesting book for parents of stubborn children, and also teachers and psychologists. It's good to hear of this technique as I hadn't heard of it before. I will add this to my reading list, especially with my two children who can be strong-willed at times! Thanks for your review 😊

I have a three-year-old niece who is going through this transition period where she's talking and understanding more. Her stubbornness is starting to show as of late. I believe this book can help curve her attitude switch.
