Cynthia and Dan: Cyber War by Dorothy May Mercer is an action-packed thriller. Cynthia Patterson is in charge of a senator's security in the United States. She and her team put in a lot of hard work around the clock to ensure he is safe. Cynthia is inadvertently caught up in the commotion after a drone lands at the White House.

To put it simply, Dorothy nailed it with this book. The characters were well-rounded, and the book was clear to understand. For some reason, I related more to Cynthia than the other characters. She exerts significant effort to ensure the success of their cyberwar plan, which includes gathering the most qualified team to assist them. Incredibly, she was also loyal to Senator Mike. The fact that she ended things with her boyfriend, who she had suspicions about, was evidence of this. Another character that piqued my interest was Gleen. Amazingly, she protected the identities of other members of his team despite being threatened.

My favorite part of this book is how the author thoughtfully and explicitly deals with several compelling plot points. She talked about some serious topics, like abortion. Some of you are pro-life, while others support abortion rights. The author never suggested she had set up camp in either group's camp. In her discussion of this topic, she took on the role of an objective outsider, which clarified that she was not out to persuade or change anyone's worldview. I admire her greatly for this. Her courage in disclosing the schemes of numerous terrorist organizations is something else I admire. She describes how they employ modern technology to wipe out humanity. The author excels in one area of the book: creating believable characters. What I took away from the reading was the importance of making time for one another and talking to one another to keep a relationship strong. Couples who make an effort to talk to each other and spend time together regularly are more likely to develop a strong, lasting love for one another.

I'm a massive fan of the romance and spy genres, but this book could have impressed me. The story needs to be fleshed out more, and the writing and dialogue need to be more formal for the characters' settings, so this is the reason I wouldn't say I liked it a bit. I appreciated that this book is grammatically correct and exceptionally well edited, as I did not find any errors. The content is free of profanity but contains erotic romance. Therefore, only adults may read the book.

Cynthia and Dan was an excellent read, and I would rate a 5 out of 5 stars, and I would suggest them to anyone who enjoys reading about terrorists. The story focuses on an alternative method terrorists can use to attack so that you won't see any explosions or missile launches. It will give you a different point of view from what you are used to.

Excellent review! Communication is indeed key for any kind of relationship to work, be it friendship or romantic relationship. There's no way for anyone to know your thought if you don't carefully express them.

It's great that you've mentioned the book's well-edited nature. This is a crucial aspect of any book, and it's reassuring to know that readers won't be distracted by errors and typos while reading.

I feel that Cynthia as a chief of security made a fool of her position by going to the suite with Sky. This doesn’t show how professional the book describes her.

The amount of effort I believe the author must have put into writing this book is very commendable and I won't lie that I enjoyed the most of the Cynthia and Sky aspect of the book.
