Dividing this book into two parts is a good approach to help readers better understand the nature of the different sides of the author's life. I like that the author narrated his childhood through adulthood experiences in a simple, vivid language. The effort put into the proofreading is also admirable.

Today's BOTD is a nonfiction book in which the author shares his personal experiences, challenges, hardships, and moments of joy. Readers will learn the importance of focusing on the good, while realizing that the lives we lead are dependent upon our perspective and how we look at things that happen. Sounds like a great book! Thank you! :-)

Thanks for the review. This autobiography sounds really interesting - retelling the same story using two different perspectives (positive and negative). Really shows you just how much your mindset can affect the way you see the world.

This is an exciting book that details the author's life both in a positive and negative light. This book clearly shows that how we perceive life determines to some extent, the quality of life we live. Thanks for the review.

Despite not being a big fan of nonfiction, I would still like to read this one because Dan's story sounds fascinating. You have won BOTD, congratulations.

What a great review for such an interesting book. I am very intrigued to see how the narrative changes between the positive and negative perspectives. It is true that every situation greatly depends on how you see it!

Sunshine among the clouds portrays the two possible phases of the human life.Though not everyone can relate to this, but a good number of people usually passes through hardship before making it in life.Things are usually not that good at first but after hardwork, perseverance and maybe fate they see sunshine in the dark clouds.

Wow. Writing the same story from two different perspective is a very impressive approach. Reading the darkest moment in someone's life is quite depressing, tho. But I get the lesson from this book. Let's appreciate the little positive things in life. Thank you for a well-written review.

I applaud the author's courage and openness in letting readers see both his happy and saddest periods in life. The author's perspective has encouraged me to seek out positivity in even the smallest things, and to see the bigger picture in life's ups and downs.

"Sunshine Among the Clouds" by Dan "Axe" DeKruif is a book which outlines the experiences of the author as he went through life. From here, I understood that ," one's reality is their perception of life"

I love the fact that the author's personal experiences illustrate that our perception of life can greatly affect our quality of life. The book's engaging narrative style and use of the coin analogy make it a compelling read. Congratulations on the BOTD.

I’m looking forward to digging into this novel to find out how DeKruif was able to narrate his story from two separate angles and also how he faced the different challenges in his life. I commend the author for sharing his life through his pen.

Just finished reading Sunshine Among the Clouds by Dan "Axe" Dekruif, and it's a must-read for anyone seeking a positive outlook on life. The author's dual-perspective account of his personal life is both brave and endearing. I loved how he gradually narrated his life from childhood to adulthood, and his writing style was engaging. 5/5 stars!
The difference between taking and giving, and taking and not giving is the difference between life and death.
