What do you think goes into writing a book? What can make it a successful one? You will probably respond, "Write a fantastic book that readers will devour." Right? I would have thought so too. Anna David explains that writing a good book isn't the only important factor. What you do before and after you write the book are the crucial elements determining the fate of your book. On Good Authority is an excellent resource for those looking to market their businesses and establish themselves as industry leaders. It reflects the revolutionary transition from conventional publishing practices to contemporary publishing techniques.

The author facilitates a 7-step guide to launching a book that will change your life. Early on, she made it abundantly clear that the book wasn't for just any author. It is for those who want to write on topics related to their business or the services they provide. Consequently, they will be able to draw in more clients, and the book will continue to be beneficial long after it is published. I appreciated how David defined the unambiguous ways to forge ahead on this path. She suggested several ideas for using social media to one's advantage. The use of several reputed and tremendously successful authors' quotes and words of wisdom added to the authenticity of this book. The personal achievements of Anna David were equally significant. I especially loved how she launched her book, Make Your Mess Your Memoir, a few months into the pandemic. Thirty memoirs got published on account of the Zoom writing group she facilitated. Not only had she managed to self-publish, but she also promoted it on a popular television show, Good Morning America.

I assumed this book would be resourceful for any writer when I first started reading it. That was an oversight on my part, though, as the book's subtitle was very clear: 7 Steps to Prepare, Promote and Profit From a How-To Book That Makes You the Go-To Expert. It is primarily for authors who aim to become future authorities on a topic. Despite this, I can't refute that it contains a wealth of knowledge that other authors can utilize. So, honestly, I did not find any aspect of the book that needed improvement.

Anna David has displayed some exemplary and flawlessly edited work throughout this book. She has gone one step further and provided helpful links and tools that will enable aspiring authors to hone their talents. It will give hope to those who have experienced rejection from publishers. As someone aspiring to be an author someday, I hope to use these steps to transform my life and career. I believe this book deserves a rating of 5 out of 5 stars.

People from all walks of life, including businesspeople, life coaches, public speakers, aspiring authors, and many more, will gain a lot from this book. It has a wealth of information for authors who already have books out but are having trouble moving them off the shelves. Lastly, I recommend it to authors who want to create a book that will have a lasting and positive influence on their readers.

The engaging and provocative book "On Good Authority" by Anna David examines the importance of trust, credibility, and authenticity in contemporary society. David explores the complex mechanics of authority and how it affects all facets of our life through a blend of illuminating anecdotes, research, and personal experiences.

The book's capacity to question accepted wisdom and promote critical thinking is one of its virtues. David deftly explores the idea of authority, imploring readers to consider the reliability of the sources of knowledge and influence in their life. She focuses on the value of discernment and urges readers to look for other viewpoints in order to create well-informed judgments.

David's writing is interesting and sympathetic, making difficult ideas understandable to a variety of audiences. Her

On Good Authority is a non-fiction book that explores the complex relationships between doctors and patients, and how power dynamics, biases, and cultural factors can impact healthcare outcomes. The author, Nisha DSouza, draws on her own experiences as a medical student and physician, as well as extensive research and interviews with other healthcare professionals, to shed light on these issues.

The book covers a wide range of topics, from the history of medical education and the role of empathy in patient care, to the impact of race and ethnicity on health outcomes and the challenges faced by patients with chronic illnesses. Through a series of case studies and personal anecdotes, DSouza makes a compelling case for the need to improve communication and collaboration between doctors and patients, and to address the systemic barriers that can prevent patients from receiving the care they need.

Overall, On Good Authority is a thought-provoking and informative book that offers valuable insights into the complexities of healthcare and the importance of empathy and communication in medical practice.

The intensely personal memoir "On Good Authority" by Anna David covers recovery from addiction. As the book dives deeper into the complexity of addiction, readers are let inside her private thoughts and feelings through her open and insightful way of writing skills. Through the course of the book, Anna David provides a straight-forward look at her experiences with addiction, including the intense feeling of shame and seclusion that goes along with it. She examines many aspects, such as her personality qualities and the social pressures she experienced as a renowned journalist/author, that contributed to her addiction. "On Good Authority" is basically a narrative of hope and resilience, despite its heavy subject. Anna David's path to sobriety is proof of the strength of the human spirit and emphasizes the need of getting treatment when you need it. The book also makes a strong statement on the stigma that exists in society around addiction and the importance of having more empathy and understanding for individuals who are struggling. Overall, I give "On Good Authority" 5/5 because it's a well written book, especially to those who has battled addiction or share similar experiences. I definitely recommend anyone who is interested in human experiences to read this book because of Anna David's openness and truthfulness.

"Good Authority" is a memoir by Anna David about her journey towards self-discovery and self-acceptance. The book is honest and vulnerable, making Anna's story relatable and inspiring. Her journey towards recovery and self-love is a reminder that we all have the capacity for growth and change. The book is easy to read and offers insights and advice for improving mental health and well-being. However, the book may not resonate with everyone as it is highly personal. Overall, "Good Authority" is a powerful memoir that offers hope and inspiration to those struggling with addiction, mental health issues, or personal demons.
