Review of The Date Farm
One would wonder what it means to kill innocent people without remorse. However we may think about it, it's never the right thing to do. Nevertheless, I still believe that people who indulge in terrorism might be doing so as a result of their orientation. If you are a fan of books on terrorism, this book, The Date Farm by Jack Winnick, is for you.
The story began with ten men dressed in black entering the Beverly Hills mall and shooting sporadically, thereby killing tens of people. It happened that Lara, an FBI agent who is newly married to Uri, an Israeli Mossad member, was on vacation in Lara's family house when they got the news of the terrorist attack. Given that the terrorists killed themselves after the attack, what would the new couple do? Learn more by reading this book.
When it comes to engaging novels packed with a lot of action, I think I would give it to the Lara and Uri series. It's quite important to note that, beyond the beauty of this book, it also contains important lessons that could be of benefit to anyone interested. I was able to learn a lot about love, sacrifice, risk-taking, teamwork, togetherness, and courage by reading this book.
Because it is well written, simple to read, and straightforward to understand, I believe that the Lara and Uri series is a must-read for anyone who enjoys reading about terrorism and crime detection. Again, I would like to point out that the writing style and the storyline are important aspects of this book that make it unique and interesting to read. The author did a good job of character development because identifying each character was simple and easy.
I could not find anything to point out as a negative aspect of this book, though it contains a few profane words and sexual scenes. It's still not enough reason to deduct a star. This book is perfectly well edited since I couldn't find any typo or grammatical error while reading it, and in regards to that, I would give it a rating of 5 out of 5 stars. I would recommend this book to all lovers of crime detection novels, those who want to learn a thing or two about terrorism, and those interested in learning about teamwork, love, and sacrifice.
