What strange foods do you like?

I like a dill pickle wrapped in a slice of bologna. Most people think that sounds gross, but it is very good! I also like a glass of milk when I eat bologna and mayonnaise sandwiches and potato chips. I have had several people say 'yuck' when I tell them that!

Oh me too Sara! I have a soft spot for this because it was a rare treat I had as a kid. Bonus points if it's from a fast food restaurant for nostalgia.

I do have a good number of food combinations that people in general and a lot of my friends in Particular find strange. One of such combinations is putting nuts in cereal such as groundnuts and golden morn. Also I like to use bread to eat beans which a lot of people do find uncommon.

I can eat almost anything mash together. Like fried eegplant with soy sauce, which is one of the best food for me.

Oh I love putting nuts in the cereal bol, and mixing different kinds of cereal and cornflakes at the same time. Makes life more tasty!

I cannot think of a strange combination that I like right now, although I'm sure some would find my food choices strange. However, I know many people who enjoy watermelon with white cheese which sounds completely unacceptable to me.

When I would go to my grandparents' house as a child, we would all sit together at the table, say a prayer, then eat. My grandfather had the most curious way of eating his food. Unlike most people who separate their food onto different sections of their plates, my grandfather piled everything up. So if there was noodle, that was the base layer, then the veggies, then meat, and usually it was all topped with gravy. Finally, a slice of butter bread to make sure the plate was clean.

My favorite childhood combo, thanks to my grandfather, is applesauce and sweet green peas. Plus gravy on nearly all my veggies I will never forget those dinners and this book reminds me so much of those happy, carefree times.

I also love peanut butter and banana! I think peanut butter and bacon is also really delicious together, and in South Africa, we have a sandwich spread called Bovril, which I love with peanut butter and bacon on toast! My friends think it's bizarre.

Here in my country there is a season when we eat grasshoppers and they are really good but people who are not familiar with it find this strange.

I don’t know if this will classify as weird food or weird eating habit. I hate eating a boiled egg whole, I always separate the whites from the yolks. It gives me this weird type of pleasure.
