We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies is book one of this amazing fantasy series. The book follows the journeys of different characters like Galen and Meldorath. The book delves into the world of magic, technology, and politics in the nation of Voulhire. Voulhire is a nation in its golden age with darkness lurking in its shadows.

Meldorath is one of the characters that I found intriguing in the book. The author painted meldorath as a very powerful mage who is feared and respected in voulhire. Seeing that meldorath is an ambitious man who can overthrow him, the king decides to arrest meldorath. Meldorath gets confined to an island that is guarded by an armada. Has the king made a grievous mistake by arresting this powerful man? Get the book to find out.

I appreciated the way the author did not exaggerate the use of magic by the characters. I also liked the author's explanations on how magic works in voulhire. The character build-up was also fantastic. What I liked the most about the book was how it ended. The book left me in suspense, which increased my urge of reading the next book. The author intertwined some of the characters perfectly. I think that not every author could execute something like that.

The incorporation of politics in the book made it more interesting to read. I also liked the way the author did not focus on only one character. The many characters in the book gave me a deeper understanding of this nation of voulhire. I salute Matthew Tysz's writing style which I think was amazing.

The negative aspect of the book is the use of complicated words in the book. This interrupted the flow of the book as I had to ascertain the meaning of the words in the dictionary. That was the only thing that turned me off about the book

The book was exceptionally well edited. I found no errors in the book. I rate this book five out of five. I think the negative aspect of the book is very minor. That is why I didn't deduct a point from the rating. I recommend the book to readers who love fantasy.
