I admire the author's determination. His story will definitely inspires others who are challenged by their circumstances to overcome the obstacles, beat the odds, and surpase limitations. This is such a motivating and instructive journey to read. Great review!

I like how Mike was still positive about life even when he couldn't walk, lost his job, and even had an unstable marriage. I like how it was said that he had families that were also supportive, sometimes all that we need are people who will be there with us every step of the way.

I like the attitude Mark showed in his pursuit despite being discouraged by his care provider. I’m glad he was able to pen down his experiences to be a life lesson to others.

I love One Step at a Time. It's about a paraplegic's determination to walk again despite a horrific accident. It's an incredible journey from misery to the miraculous. Those with spinal cord injuries who have been told they will never walk again will find encouragement in this book. Thanks for your review.

Anything is possible if you really want it. My mother broke her back, and had to have her lower lumbar vertebrae fused together. The doctor said she wouldn't walk again. She did walk again. She had a lot of pain and another doctor said she would have to live with it. Then another doctor said he could fix all the scar tissue and help with the pain. She had 2 rods placed in her back and he removed all the scar tissue pressing on her nerves. He also inserted a rod in her neck when he found the scarring from a man trying to attack her when I was younger. My mother is walking and isn't in pain from her back and neck any more. She told me you have to never accept defeat. There is always a yes if you want it bad enough.

This is an inspiring book and a truly huge accomplishment. I liked the use of mini-stories from the author’s past, including childhood songs, to build a picture of his character.

'Official Review: One Step at a Time: Memoir of a Former Quadriplegic' by Michael L. McCord provides the readers with complete and thorough knowledge about the book. I like the way the reviewer explores the different points related to the author's story of life. The point that the book demonstrates the courage, endurance, and perseverance Michael had in perilous times is worth mentioning in the review. Also, the point that the author was able to touch the lives of various quadriplegics, including Mark, who was determined to do the impossible, as mentioned in the review, is remarkable for readers. It was great to learn that the book was educative, inspiring, and intriguing to read!

I recently read the book 'One Step at a Time' by Michael and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for advice on personal development and growth. The book provides simple but yet powerful insights to overcome challenges, form healthy habits, and achieve success in different aspects of life. What I really loved though was how the author managed to blend real-life stories with clear guidance, making it very relatable. I found myself nodding in agreement and taking notes as I read through the chapters. Overall, 'One Step at a Time' is a must-read for anyone who aspires to reach their full potential and lead a fulfilling life.

Mike has been blessed, him walking again is a miracle. Despite everything, he always had a positive attitude toward life and was determined to walk again. I do not know if I could have kept my faith and positive attitude.

This memoir is a very inspirational story about courage, determination, high spirit, and positive thinking. I admire the author for his resilience in overcoming the tough times he had to face, for achieving what many told him was impossible, and for having the courage to write about them. This is an amazingly written review!
