The day after the execution, Tully received a box of Calvery’s possessions. He finds some some books, a calendar, a poem and a pet turtle named Sport.

Is it odd that in spite of the fact that this book clearly has some STUFF going on (and plenty of it), I’m excited at the mention of the turtle? Of ALL things? LOL! Turtles are one of my all-time favorite animals and I used to have some as pets myself, so I guess it can’t be helped.
