The book sounds interesting and apart from the phylosophical aspect it has a lot of adventures. Orlando traveled to so many countries and so many epochs, he even changed gender. It will be interesting to read the book. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!

I read the sample. Unfortunately, this book isn't for me. I'm a big fan of Virginia Woolf's "Orlando," and this type of spin-off doesn't really appeal to me. Nevertheless, I'm sure many will enjoy it. Congrats to the author on his achievement.

I enjoy reading historical fiction especially when famous historical figures are included. I also like time travel. I am not a fan of poetry though, buti think I’m going to enjoy this based on your review.

Though I am not a mythology or history buff, I am intrigued by the changing narrative style. I do wonder why Orlando had to travel to different eras to settle the dispute among the gods. I wish the reviewer mentioned some of the historical figures too.

Your review was very interesting, great job! This book seems to be very unique with the different eras and different places. It should be an interesting read.

This book seems very interesting, it is different but makes you want to read more of it thinking what will happen next. Orlando's willingness to take the mission from the Gods not evening knowing what it involves first really shows his character, which eventually pays off for him in his accomplishments.

It must have been challenging for the author to write a book in four different styles. Orlando is tasked by the gods to establish which city is the greatest, of the cities that they are patrons of. He travels through time to visit these amazing cities and learns many new skills along the way.

Thank you for an excellent review.

This is a very informative and useful review in furthering the understanding of the book's concept beyond the sample that I've read. I agree that it is a unique book involving time travel and a variety of period-related genres. Sampling this book, I enjoyed reading about the dispute of the gods and about Orlando embarking on his divine mission and detouring to Italy - well, maybe less impactful than losing all of his father's sheep! :)

It looks like an interesting story and the plot is well written, but the topic is not my favorite type, so I will pass it this time. Great review

The book Orlando in the Cities by Sebastian Michael is an addictive book based on Greek mythology. Being a personal fan of Greek mythology, I instantly fell in love with the book when I saw it. It talks about a boy named Orlando who is chosen by the gods of Olympus to scout the earth and proclaim which city is the best. Being a servant for the gods in this mission, Orlando soon sees the world from a different perspective, far more than the mortal mind can comprehend. This historical book is one that will keep you wondering what will happen next as it unfolds. Nice review.

I have already read and loved this book! It first caught my attention, because I love mythology and "the gods of Mount Olympus" is a great part of it, but I enjoyed reading it thanks to the awesome storyline and main character. While Orlando's mission might seem simple, it leads to a great, perfectly intricate adventure. Congratulations on BOTD!

Orlando in the Cities" by Sebastian Michael is a captivating and ambitious blend of literature and history. The use of different narrative styles corresponding to different time periods adds an intriguing layer to the storytelling. And I can't wait to see more in the story. Great review.
