This book is most suitable and valuable to those in the cybersecurity and security sectors. And even employees, as everyone needs to be enlightened on how to be security conscious.

Technology and cyber security industry, those are good topics to read about. But the repetitive nature of the book is what I don't think I can cope with; all the same, good review!

Given the title of this book, I did not expect it to be about cybersecurity. However, after learning about its premise, I think it's an appropriate title because many CEOs, COOs, and the like always wanted to be the smartest person in the room, and that is a problem because these people usually ignore the advice of cybersecurity professionals because, as I have said, they think they are the smartest person in the room.
Congratulations to the author for BOTD!

I appreciate your clear and balanced review, Christieee. It's interesting that will all the advances in technology, success boils down to good interpersonal skills. If humans don't abandon those skills, this point gives hope for the future.

Congrats on BOTD.

This sounds vivid warning to companies or industries who are working with incompetent employees with no or less skills of dealing and handling companies security in general. Great review.

The book is inspiring, encouraging people in the technology and cyber security industry to become better and be the best in their career in order to change the current reality in their field positively. That, I must say, is enough reason to read the book. That the author was direct and perceived to be harsh gives credence to the fact that he had spent a good part of his life writing codes and giving commands. Great review.

Often, when people are thinking about intelligence, they only think about being textbook smart. However, it is not helpful to only work with textbook skills if you have no idea how to socialize! I love the way the book advertises this concept and draws people in!

I love the word Kaizen, a continuous improvement. And employers must possess Kaizen to fight against cyber thieves. People skills are needed for cybersecurity. Though this matter sounds important, I am not a techie, so I'm gonna skip this book. Nonetheless, congratulations to the author on BOTD!

This is not something I am interested in, the book seems too technical for me, and I am also not in the Cyber Security or IT World.

I don't understand tech very much. The issues are crucial and relevant nowadays. Sounds like something I should read for a better knowledge. It is so annoying when the topics get repetitive, tho. I think the author had something personal against Doug irl. Anyway, thank you for the analysis. Nice review!

Thank you for the review, and I can totally understand the authors point of needing compassion and empathy for your workers in order to be truly successful.
