I don't often see books about deaf characters, so this one has a special place for me. As someone with hearing problems, I need this book to recommend to people who don't understand my struggles. Moreover, I like the reference to an elephant. How can someone with huge ears lose his hearing? We'll find out from this book. Congratulations on the BOTD.

I am looking forward to reading this book. I am delighted to know that it is free today. My older brother had a hearing difficulty, so this affliction is very real to me. I hope the book will allow everyone to be more aware of this disability and to be kind to those affected by it.

This book is AMAZING! The idea is so ingenious, educative, interesting, and entertaining all at once. I must commend the author for coming up with a children's book to explain a medical condition. Wow! I'm impressed and interested in reading it! Well deserved five stars!

This is a great book to help children understand why they are different. The review is right about the author's word choice. The words are easy to decipher for children, and the illustration of Eddie with the help of the spider is beautiful.

Many times, medical problems are left to medics with little or no information for the victims and guardians. There can never be a better person other than an audiologist and a cochlear implant user, to convey such sensitive yet important information. All guardians, victims, and audiologists should grab this copy, there is so much to learn.

It's a great book because it caters to both parents and children, letting them understand how to deal with hearing loss. Children need support and information, and the books seems to explain it very well through both simple language and pictures. Thanks for the review!

The mode of encounter and conversation between Eddie and the spider seems like a clever approach to educate children about hearing loss. By addressing the possible causes, medical gadgets, and the importance of support systems, this story offers valuable insights. The illustrations also add another layer of understanding. I can't wait to dive into this captivating tale!

This is quite an interesting children's book. It creates awareness about children suffering from hearing loss-prior to reading this book, I had no idea that 32 million children suffers from hearing loss worldwide. Susanne is doing an amazing job with her advocacy. Children who do not suffer from hearing loss will also learn to develop empathy for those suffering. Kudos!

Reading this review, I got to understand that there are lessons and education to gain apart from the entertainment in the story. This is a good evaluation. Thanks for this impactful review and congrats on BOTD.
