Historical romance isn't my favourite genre, and 557 pages sounds exceptionally long. I'll give this one a miss, but thank you for the very thorough review.

This engaging ancient Greek historical novel seems like it brings alive mythology, philosophy, and romance. Great review!

This sounds like some well-researched historical fiction. I love reading about Ancient Greece and Greek mythology, so it sounds right up my alley, as long as it turns out that the research is as well-incorporated as it seems to be. I’m not always a big fan of romance stories, but this one seems compelling in several ways, so the romance probably enhances the novel as well. Thank you for the helpful review.

I have not read many books about Ancient Greece, but I would definitely want to start to change that with this book, it sounds amazing.

This so definitely something I would read. I enjoy Greek mythology and all that goes along with it. I'm intrigued to see what the outcome between Pericles and Aspasia will be. Will they manage to concur all the obstacles they facing? Thanks for an interesting review.

I enjoy stories that have some history and true timelines mixed in. Although this isn’t the type of book I usually read, the review I just read described the characters and setting in such a way ,I want to know more. I will probably read this and the sequel as well.

This sounds like a great historical fiction set in Greece. The love between Aspasia and Pericles is a tough and interesting one. I'm curious to find out how they navigate all those obstacles, and what the future of their love will be.

This fabulous story seems to have all those fascinating elements one can expect from a legend of ancient Greece, and of course, this story has all the ingredients required for a story about war and love.

Thank you for another great review. I'm glad you enjoyed the book. Though this book does sound interesting in ways, I believe I will pass on it. I don't care that much for Greek mythology and such long books. But it sounds like one that many others will enjoy. That's marvelous that a book that long had so few errors.

Sounds like a forbidden love, considering the times. Well, if we are going to be talking about forbidden, these times aren't any better, so this might be a timeless classic. Eager to delve in! Great review!

I believe I am the perfect reader for this book (all the prerequisites- checked). The plotline seems interesting and we must be in for a treat given the world-building and character formation that the text will reek with. And there is no reason why I shouldn't sing praises for you after you have written such a sly piece. Yeah, sly! Because it just shows your intricacy. On a very positive note, best wishes, I enjoyed reading your review and you are reason I am interested in the book.

Pericles and Aspasia transports you to ancient Greece, where forbidden love challenges societal norms. It's a captivating blend of history, romance, and philosophy.

This is an awesome love story that makes me want to read more. It's interesting to find out how Aspasia & Pericles create their love story. I think this book deserves nothing but a 5 out of 5 star rating. I love the genre of ancient times in the golden age of war. It's very captivating. Great job Yvonne!

Historical fiction is starting to become my new favourite genre. It's always interesting to read about characters from myths as if they were actual people. The author seems to have done an excellent job of reaccounting this love story. Great review!

A Greek love story sounds great. I wonder what Pericles and Aspasia are going to do. Most of the books I read from Greek are about leadership and way of living but I'm glad I get to read this one too. I, however, get tired of foreign words but I'll put in more effort with this.
