I am not a fan of historical books, but this is an excellent review. I could feel your enthusiasm through the lines. Moreover, your review made me curious about what will happen with the relationship between Pericles and Aspasia. I truly believe that this book has something to learn from, and your review made me curious about it. Thank you.

I love historical fiction and I like that the story is set in ancient Greece. I like that the story touches on Greek mythology. I did not know about Zeus giving birth to Athena through his head. Congratulations on making book of the day!

Historical books have always been my favorite genre and this sounds like an interesting read. A story set in Greek mythology features a romance plot between Pericles and Aspasia. Congratulations on BOTD.

Historical enthusiasts are smiling now. This book has all we need to know about the Golden Age, the Silver Age, and the Bronze Age. A touch of romance spices up the novel even more, I am eager to know the fate of Aspasia and Pericles.

Pericles was known for his rhetorical skills and his ability to inspire the Athenian citizens with his speeches. I don’t really think I want to read another book on this topic as I feel like I have read enough already. Great book though.

Pericles and Aphasia is a fictionalized historical account of a romantic relationship between an Athens ruler and a foreigner. I love historical Greece, its culture, and its philosophies. It would be interesting to find out how the relationship fared amidst society’s distrust for foreigners. Thanks for your review.

Wow! This book is packed! I've never really bothered to engage myself in Greek mythology because of how complex I've concludes it to be. However, the talk about Zeus giving birth to Athena from his forehead is pretty insane. I'm looking forward to reading this book. Congratulations on BOTD.

Reading historical books can be interesting. Learning about what the people of old did in their lifetime, the impact they made in society, the and principles they made and abide by. Greek mythology is special when reading about historical events.

I love Greek and Roman mythology. The story of Pericles is just one of the minor stories I read, so this book will provide more in-depth information about his life. Romance is not my thing unless it's part of mythology. I'm looking forward to the ending with Aspasia in Athens. Congratulations on the BOTD.

Greek mythology is a fascinating topic. However, I'm not motivated to read historical fiction/romance at the moment, so I'll skip this one. I hope it finds the right audience! Congrats on the BOTD. Thanks for the great review, Bertha!

Personally, the twist of Pericles being married with kids, and Aspasia being a prostitute and a foreigner, made this book very intriguing to read. I would love to see how Pericles handles this situation. Congratulations on BOTD!
