Review of We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies
[Following is a volunteer review of "We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies" by Matthew Tysz.]
The author of We Are Voulhire: A New Arrival Under Great Skies took us on an excursion to the Voulhire kingdom, a fantasy world of Voulhire surrounded by a sea and owned by King Wilhelm, an emperor of Lullabies who has given his son's islands because of fear that one day they will come back after him.
He did that to take away their attention from his throne, which they desired. He thought if their attention was not focused on something, they might kill him one day to take his throne, so he gave them the island to the southwest. But this island will not know peace because of his sons. They have been unleashing war against each other occasionally in this environment. The war led to the fleeing away of the citizens of the land to Voulhire for refuge and safety. The King of Voulhire then closed the borders against immigrants from the Island, except for an important cause. Some are fortunate to escape for exceptional purposes, like Galen Bray, who has a late uncle who owns a forge in the Voulhire kingdom; Galen was the sole heir to his uncle's properties in Voulhire. Because of this reason, he was granted access to Voulhire. In this book, Galen will journey to see and know more about Voulhire.
This book, We Are Voulhire: A New Arrival Under Great Skies, is a fantasy book with a captivating story. The author skillfully builds and links a lot of lines to the novel, which gives the reader the whole gist of what life in Voulhire is all about. It almost seems one is already in Voulhire while going through this book. The reader will glance at the adventures in Voulhire.
Galen escaped death by boarding a ship as he got the opportunity to flee from the land of the princes, a land dominated by wars. He came to Magnum Caelum; Magnum Caelum is a city inside the Voulhire kingdom. On his arrival, he met Rowan, an executor of his uncle, whose possession he had come to inherit. Rowan was a help to him, showing him all he needed to know and taking control of his late uncle's business.
I love the mysterious event that was unveiled in this book. The author was masterful in his story, writing as if it were real. This book has more to unfold because the story is engaging, but I realized it has many series, and this is the first. So this book must never be ignored because it has a fascinating fantasy world. Start your journey to the land of Voulhire from this first series today and find out what happened.
This book was exceptionally well edited with no errors, so I rate it 5 out of 5 stars. I would like to unveil more about this book in the next series.
I recommend this book to mature people who are interested in the world of fantasy, magic, and mysteries.
