Country Club Time is an emotional and inspiring story about a good guy gone bad and a bad guy gone good. It was authored by James Allen.

James Allen Whitfield was a privileged young boy. He received love from his mother, was smart, highly skilled in football, and was handsome. Right before the end of his high school years, Jimmy chose the wrong path. He became involved in the drug culture and started hanging out with the wrong group of friends. After a couple of years, he went on a rampage, taking just about any type of drug he could get his hands on. He would not listen to advice, as he thought he knew it all. He disrespected his mother and disregarded the law one too many times.

As karma would have it, we always face the consequences of our actions. After engaging in all manner of misconduct with his friend Steve, which involved not only smoking pot and taking drugs but also selling them in large quantities, Steve and Jimmy were on top of the world. They thought they were too smart to be caught and were invisible. Then they decided to rob a bank. At first, they got away with it, but eventually, the law caught up with them. Now they are faced with a more uncertain future than they had anticipated. This is the account of the true story of James Allen Whitfield, and you should get a copy of it to learn more about his ordeals.

I really enjoyed reading this book. Truly, there were times when I had to take a pause to reflect. One important aspect of Jimmy's story was his moment of awakening. When he was in jail awaiting trial, his whole world came crashing down, and in that moment of remorse, he said a prayer of repentance to God, and from then on, his life was transformed. Truly, there is a God, and when we seek Him diligently, He will forgive us despite our shortcomings.

I found no errors or anything to dislike in this book. If anything, I became a better person after reading it. The book was exceptionally edited and written in a very interesting and simple way. I would gladly give it a rating of 5 out of 5 stars. The reason for this perfect rating is that the book was truly inspiring, thought-provoking, and educational. The author's writing was very simple, and there was a lot of humor present in his tone, which only added to the beauty of the book.

This book carries a message of hope for the younger generation and anyone deeply involved in drugs. That is not a way of life, and it is the simplest means of breaking into prison. Anyone dealing with drug addiction, following the wrong crowd, or feeling depressed and wondering if there is a God should pick up a copy of this book. Maybe they could find some answers within its pages.

I think it was brave of James Allen to share his story, not everybody can. A lot of people can learn from this. I would definitely read this book. Great review.

My 31 year old son lived a similar lifestyle to that of James'. It was heartbreaking watching him behave the way he did, but I didn't give up on him. I kept on praying for God to intervene, and eventually, he did. Thank you for your review.

This book is really talking about the realities of life. Most young adults think they know it all and will not listen to simple advice. Alright, fate knows how to play its role on us. Good review dear.

Is James the same person as Jimmy? Children shouldn't disrespect their parents, especially their good mums. A mother is someone willing to give up on all her dream to ensure her kids get the best out of life. Making bad decisions is not enough reason to kick that sacrifice to the curb.
