In this book, Robert J. De Sena used magic and supernatural happenings to create a story of bravery and utter courage. King Althius, the good king of Calderont and Calderi, was in a dilemma after the dragon of Maladour emerged and captured his daughter, Princess Beldonia, which left his people in deep fear. Salesand, a boy in tune with the forest, took up courage, killed the dragon, and rescued the princess. That led to his marriage to the princess and their eventual rulership over the kingdom. However, the dragon's blood that had landed on Salesand robbed him of all vitality. Queen Beldonia ruled in his place. The peace the land experienced was swept away after Queen Beldonia suffered an uncommon disease, and they became open to attacks.

Fifteen-year-old Chrysallia, Salesand's daughter, was forced to step up and take control, but she had to control and conquer the dragons within her before conquering the ones before her and her people. They were the dragons of rage, hate, and physical desires. King Salasand did not want her to end up like him, who succumbed to the dragons within. Chrysallia embarked on a journey into the forest, where the entire story played out and where she was to be met with several trials.

Chrysallia: The Princess of Possibility by Robert J. De Sena is well written. It serves as an eye-opener in various parts of life, such as religion, tribal differences, and so on. It exposed how some people in positions of power and authority create different factions in order to wield power and influence over the populace. The author used this story to portray values needed in life, such as unity, tolerance, self-discipline, and preservation of our natural resources. There was no use of obscene vocabulary in the book, and I loved that because it made the book suitable for a wide demographic of readers. I will not fail to mention that the book was exceptionally well edited.

I didn't appreciate that the story seemed incomplete. It was open-ended in a way that was very unsatisfactory. The author's diction was also a bit too complex in many parts of the book.

Chrysallia: The Princess of Possibility by Robert J. De Sena deserves a rating of 5 out of 5 stars. It is an intriguing read, and I dare call it a must-read for a lot of fiction lovers because there are numerous moral lessons and values to be taken from it. The positives to this book overshadow the slight negatives, and that's the reason I didn't deem it necessary to remove a star from it.

I recommend this book to lovers of science fiction and fantasy stories. I also recommend it to teenagers. It contains a lot of the needed lessons that would shape their characters.

This story, even if it is from the world of imagination, has a lot of meanings and connotations. Naturally, a person has many good and bad things within him. Through this story, a person must abandon the evil that is inside him through self-discipline and work to curb this existing evil. Sometimes some evil can be used for motives of protection and strength in the face of the opponent, not against those who have nothing to defend him. The center of power, if a person is in it, must use it for good, to return to him and his people and his entourage with goodness and love.

Seems to me that this could have resulted in the kind of story that has been wildly overdone. These dragons within are the same things also referred to as demons, or just feelings. I’m glad to see it’s not that way at all.
