The book seems intriguing, I'll give it a try, hoping to overcome any confusing parts and experience the same enjoyment as you did.

I normally like sci-fis and Bev seems like an interesting character, but it seems like there's a lot going on in this one. I'll probably skip this.

This is a WOW review, and after sampling this book I agree with the reviewer's rating. I, too, liked Bev Colli, although the sample only covered the meet-and-greet until the explosion at the mine where she was doomed to work. It's nice to find out from the review about a variety of the threads in this novel. And I agree that this novel would thrill sci-fi fans.

This seems like an interesting and somewhat futuristic science fiction story. If the characterization is as good as you say, I might have to check this out. Thanks for the intriguing review!

Revenge, faith, and loyalty- three complex feelings/actions. This seems like a very unique sci-fi novel! Worth the read! Awesome review too.

"Chaos Rising" by P.D. Blackwell is an interesting story full of wars and uncovering mystery, especially the attack on the mining town. I will consider reading.

I feel as though I would get confused by the science parts, but otherwise seems like an excellent sci-fi book.

Though age made me no longer a sci-fi fan, I admire the vast amount 0f work put into creating entirely new worlds. This novel also has two extraordinary characters, a low-bred and a leader whose stories intertwine in a complex plot.

Arlud demystifies the strange occurrence of events as a terrible war begins and drives hard to bring the clans together to stop the invisible instigators.
-I'm usually a big Sci-fi fan, but even the excitement of this line didn't grab me today. Sorry. Good review though and thank you.

I like sci-fi books and this one seems very engaging and captivating. It will be interesting to figure out more about Bev and Arlud and his attempts to maintain peace. But I see that there are three books so I will have to get all of them to have a full picture of what's going on and how everything will end. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!

"Chaos Rising" by P.D. Blackwell is a science fiction book in which the motifs of faith, loyalty, and revenge intertwine. The characters are very well thought-out, and I would especially single out Arlud Reynaldo Erstallius and Bev Colli.
